Pastor Tim Christensen had a sermon to give at Gold Hill Lutheran Church in Butte, Montana at about the same time the 49ers were to start a playoff game at Carolina.

Advantage, football.

Via BuzzFeed Sports, Christensen cut down Sunday's sermon to less than a minute so he could go watch the 49ers play the Panthers in a divisional playoff game. He then ripped open his religious garments to reveal a secular 49ers shirt underneath before running off to watch San Franciso beat Carolina 23-10 and advance to meet the Seahawks in the NFC championship game.
