Falcons strong safety William Moore, who’s coming back from offseason shoulder surgery, left the field with strained calf injury on Tuesday.

“Hopefully, we’ll have some more information about that today and see what his status is for the game,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said on Tuesday.

The Falcons were about an hour into their practice and the defensive backs were working on one-on-one tackling and coverage drills when Moore was injured.

He left the field with the trainer. The trainer returned shortly without Moore.

Kemal Ishmael, who started 10 games last season, replaced him on the first-team defense.

Also, defensive tackle Ra’Shede Hageman suffered an undisclosed injury.

“Ra’Shede had one up on the top of his face or his neck face,” Quinn said. “He went in, but hopefully we’ll find out about him.”
