Three of the Falcons top four draft picks, including top draft pick linebacker/defensive end Vic Beasley, were not at the team’s open practice on Thursday.

Also, wide receiver Justin Hardy and running back Tevin Coleman (hamstring sprain) were not at practice. Second-round pick Jalen Collins was at practice. Coleman was the Falcons third-round pick and Hardy was selected in the fourth found.

Beasley and Hardy were suffering from a stomach virus, according to head coach Dan Quinn. He said some of the assistant coaches also have the virus.

Also not at practice were tight end Beau Gardner (knee), linebacker Brooks Reed (hip strain/stomach virus), defensive end Cliff Matthews (left ankle), right guard Jon Asamoah (stomach virus), and defensive tackle Ricky Heimuli (hip).
