5 things observed at Falcons practice Saturday

After a day off, the Falcons returned to practice Saturday morning.
Here are five things we observed in the fully padded practice that concluded at 11:03 a.m.:
1. Jones in pads. Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones wore his pads, but didn't practice fully. He ran a few routes after working off to the side with the trainers.
2. Injury report. Wide receiver Calvin Ridley, who tweaked his right hamstring Thursday, did not practice. Also, linebacker Duke Riley did not practice.
3. McGary watch. We took a look at right tackle Kaleb McGary (Twitter film below) in practice during the one-on-one drills. He held his own. The first-round pick is still working with the second-team offense.
4. Backup kickers. Wide receiver Mohamed Sanu and punter Matt Bosher kicked field goals.
5. Pick city. Nickel back Damontae Kazee had an interception for the second practice in a row.
