Stone suffers knee injury, out for Jacksonville game

FLOWERY BRANCH – Falcons backup center/guard James Stone suffered a knee injury in practice on Wednesday and will not be available to face Jacksonville on Sunday, according to coach Dan Quinn.

Stone, who finished last season as the starting center, is listed on the deep chart the second right guard behind Chris Chester.

Center/guard Gino Gradkowski and Ben Garland are the backup guards on the roster.

Stone has played in seven games this season with one start. He’s was active in three games and did not play and he’s been inactive for three other games.

Also, Chester (shoulder) and linebacker Paul Worrilow (knee) return to practice on Thursday.
