With the Falcons owner stating that he would like Julio Jones’ deal done before the start of the season, the team restructured the contracts of defensive back Ricardo Allen and offensive tackle Jake Matthews, according to NFL Media.

In a Q&A with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Arthur Blank said it's "all about the rings" and that he was hopeful that Jones' extension would be done before the start of the season.

The Falcons are set to open the season against the Vikings at 1 p.m. Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium.
