The Falcons were denied permission to interview Minnesota Vikings offensive line coach Jeff Davidson, according to a Fox Sports report.

The Falcons fired offensive line coaches Pat Hill and Paul Dunn after the unit gave up 44 sacks and 100 quarterback hits last season.

Davidson, 46, just completed his third season with the Vikings. He has also coached with New Orleans, New England, Cleveland and Carolina. He was the Panthers' offensive coordinator from 2007-10.
