Falcons agree to three-year deal with Tyeler Davison

The Falcons, who are concentrating on their own free agents, agreed with defensive tackle Tyeler Davison to a three-year deal, the team announced.

Davison, 27, played in all 16 games last season and started 12 times. He played well against the run. making 55 tackles and four tackles or losses.  His deal is worth $12.5 million with $4.5 million guaranteed.

Davison, who’ 6-foot-2 and 309 pounds, played his first four seasons in the league with the Saints.  He played last season on a one-year $895,000 contract that included a $90,000 signing bounds. A total of $200,000 of the deal was guaranteed.

The Falcons signed fullback Keith Smith to a three-year deal on Saturday and defensive end Steven Means to a one-year deal last Monday.

While the offseason signings are set to pick up, the Falcons have already made some decisions.

Here’s a look at where things stand with the Falcons’ potential unrestricted and restricted free agents:
