Falcons coach Dan Quinn was aware that New England placed the 28-3 partial score from last season’s Super Bowl on their scoreboard before they went out and got spanked by the Chiefs on Thursday night.

“I was finishing up here in terms of our own prep,” Quinn said Friday. “We knew that’s part of sports and the world that we live.”

The Falcons won’t pull out the pictures before they face the Patriots on Sunday, Oct. 22.

“It’s not a new topic for us,” Quinn said. “We did the work that we had to do in the offseason. We really found our answer in training camp.

‘We don’t need anybody outside of our building to help us get ready. … We recognize when that happens. We don’t need any external stuff to light us up. We’re pretty lit up and ready to go.”
