Deion Sanders, who played for the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons at the same time during the 1990s, celebrates his 49th birthday today.

Nicknamed 'Prime Time', Sanders was drafted by the Falcons in 1989 and played five seasons in Atlanta. His performance during his time in Atlanta earned him a spot in the Falcons Ring of Honor in 2010.

After beginning his major-league baseball career with the Yankees, Sanders signed as a free agent with the Braves in 1991 and spent three seasons playing both professional sports in Atlanta. Sanders was a member of the Braves' World Series teams in 1991-92 and won a pair of Super Bowl rings after leaving the Falcons, becoming the only pro athlete to play in a World Series and a Super Bowl.

Sanders was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.
