CINCINNATI – Falcons defensive tackle Corey Peters, backup tackle Ryan Schraeder and backup linebacker Nick Stupar saw their first action of the season against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

Peters returned from Achilles surgery.

“It went all right,” said Peters, who had two tackles. “I was disappointed with the way we played and everything. It was good to get my feet wet and get back into the swing of things.”

Peters was not able to help the run defense much as the Bengals powered the ball at the Falcons and finished with 170 yards rushing.

He thought he played about 25 snaps as part of the defensive line rotation.

“I prepared the whole week knowing that I was going to play,” Peters said. “It wasn’t a surprise.”

Petes, Schraeder and Stuper were all inactive for the opener against the Saints last week. Left tackle Jake Matthews, wide receiver Courtney Roby and defensive end Cliff Matthews were listed as inactive in their place this week.

Stupar had a special teams tackle.

Quarterback Sean Renfree, cornerback Javier Arenas, linebacker Tyler Starr and center James Stone were also declared inactive.
