Moore suffers shoulder injury, return questionable

Sept 28, 2014

Falcons safety William Moore injured his shoulder in the second quarter of today’s game against Minnesota.

Moore’s return to the game was questionable. He was replaced in the lineup by second-year safety Kemal Ishmael.

The Falcons defense was struggled early against Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who completed six of six passes for 98 yards and led the Vikings to two touchdown drives in the first quarter.

Moore entered the game as the Falcons’ second-leading tackler along with linebacker Joplo Bartu with 23 tackles.

Linebacker Prince Shembo started the game at inside line backer for Bartu.

So defense has to carry on without two of the top three tacklers on the team. Linebacker Paul Worrilow had a team-leading 39 tackles heading into this game.
