Falcons defensive end Takkarist McKinley suffered an apparent setback in his recovery from his shoulder injury.

The trainer looked at his right arm during practice Saturday and then lifted both arms from the elbow a few times.

McKinley was pulled from the remainder of practice.

McKinley is trying to rebound from offseason shoulder surgery.

The Falcons are counting on McKinley to replace Adrian Clayborn, who lead the team in sacks last season, but wasn’t re-signed.
