Texans DE J.J. Watt vs. Falcons LT Jake Matthews: Watt who received MVP consideration last season is a force. He had 20.5 sacks last season and flipped a big truck tire over 60 times during an episode of "Hard Knocks." Watt has an array of moves to go with his dynamic bull rush. Matthews was steamrolled by Watt during joint practices last season when he was a rookie, but he has played well this year and will need to anchor and attack the ferocious Watt. The Falcons may chip and send Matthews help in order to slow Watt.
Texans LT Duane Brown vs. Falcons DE Vic Beasley: Brown, a Pro Bowler who is coming off a thumb injury, has missed the past two games after aggravating the injury in the season opener. He's expected to play. Beasley has a sack in each of the past two games. He's rushing well off the edge and held his own against Dallas' Tyron Smith.
Texans OLB Jadeveon Clowney vs. Falcons RB Devonta Freeman: Clowney, who has played in all three games with two starts, was the No. 1 player taken in the 2014 draft, but his rookie season was cut short with a knee injury. He's coming back from microfracture surgery. Freeman, who amassed 193 total yards in his first NFL start, ran with authority and caught the ball well out of the backfield. The Falcons like to get him isolated on linebackers in the passing game.
