Falcons All-Pro wide receiver Julio Jones returned to practice from his calf injury and pronounced himself ready to play against the Saints on Monday Night after Saturday’s practice.
Jones, who said both of his calves hurt, was limited in practice and listed officially as questionable for the game.
“I felt really good,” Jones said. “I got out there and moved around. I did ladders and everything just to get warmed up before I actually got into the practice. It felt good at practice.”
Jones was injured when a Raider fell on the back of legs after he made a catch with 5:02 left in the game.
“The trainers and the doctors looked at it, but I’m OK now,” Jones said. “Yes, I will play Monday night.”
Jones has nine catches for 172 yards and two touchdowns.
“He looked explosive going in and out of his breaks,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said. “He didn’t get a lot of turns, but we kind of tried to feature him on the plays that he needed to see. …I’m encouraged.”
