Falcons two-time All Pro wide receiver Julio Jones was a bit subdued during his weekly media session at his locker on Thursday.

The Falcons are set to play the Detroit Lions at 1 p.m. Sunday at Ford Field.

“They are a talented group, but at the end of the day it comes down to us,” Jones said.

Jones seemed to scoff at the notion that he’ll have a tough matchup when he goes against Detroit cornerback Darius Slay.

“That’s cool,” Jones said. “Like I said, I’m not worried about their corners or things like that. I just have to go out there and do my job....cornerbacks are supposed to be talented.”
