The Tampa Bay Buccaneers went as expected with Thursday night's first round draft pick of Jameis Winston.
The controversial Florida State quarterback won 26 of 27 games he started during two seasons at Florida State. He won a national Championship and Heisman trophy while at Florida State.
Winston had a few run-ins with the law over his award winning college days.
One of the incidents involved being accused of shoplifting crab legs in 2014. Last week, he said they were a gift.
According to the New York Daily News, Florida State is now investigating if there was a NCAA violation.
A post to his Instagram account Thursday night has some fans and football followers thinking, really, should he have gone there?
The image on his Instragram account has since been removed. But here's a tweet:
He thanks an unnamed "Capt for the crab legs."
Before the crab leg feast, Winston said on Twitter that his dream had come true by becoming a Buccaneer.
