Jake Long declared inactive for Giants’ game

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Falcons offensive tackle Jake Long, who was signed this past week to provide some depth at the tackle position, was declared inactive for today's game against the New York Giants at 1 p.m. at MetLife Stadium.

Wide receiver Devin Hester (turf toe), defensive end Malliciah Goodman (triceps) and linebacker Brooks Reed (groin surgery) were declared out on Friday.

Wide receiver Justin Hardy, center Gino Gradkowski and offensive tackle Bryce Harris were declared inactive for the game.

Safety Cooper Taylor, linebacker Jon Beason, defensive end Owa Odighizuwa, tackle Bobby Hart, defensive tackle Markus Kuhn, wide receiver Victor Cruz and tight end Daniel Fells were declared inactive for the Giants.
