Pro Bowl center Alex Mack suffered a strained calf on Wednesday and will be held out of practice on Thursday, Falcons coach Dan Quinn said.

“We are going to rest Levine Toilolo with his knee,” Quinn said. “We are also going to rest Alex Mack. He strained his calf yesterday.”

Toilolo was injured against the Saints. He has a medial collaterally ligament sprain, according to NFL Media. His status for Sunday’s game is in doubt.

“We’re going to take it all the way as long as we can,” Quinn said. “We are fortunate that it was not a long term injury.”

Wide receiver Julio Jones was expected to be limited on Wednesday, but he did not practice with a thumb and ankle injury.

“He’s a fast healer,” Quinn said.
