Falcons free safety Thomas DeCoud (concussion) and running back Antone Smith (knee) did not practice for the second day this week on Thursday.

DeCoud, who didn’t miss a snap in 2012, suffered a concussion at the end of the first quarter of the 22-21 loss to Green Bay and is in stage one of the league’s concussion protocol program.

“I’m not going to rule him out today,” Falcons coach Mike Smith said. “If he doesn’t get any better tomorrow will be the day that we make that determination. He’s still in the same stage that he was yesterday.”

Smith was also injured against the Packers.

Tight end Tony Gonzalez (toe), safety Zeke Motta (hand), linebacker Sean Weatherspoon (shoulder), wide receiver Roddy White (knee) and linebacker Paul Worrilow (shoulder) were all limited in practice,
