Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, who suffered a right ankle sprain against the Rams on Sunday, will not play against the Seahawks at 1 p.m. Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
He was ruled out on Saturday.
While the team is reporting that it’s an ankle sprain, media medical analyst Dr. David J. Chao said Ryan suffered a high right ankle sprain and could miss one to two weeks. With the bye week after the Seahawks game, Ryan could be available when the Falcons play the New Orleans Saints on Nov. 10.
Running back Ito Smith (concussion), cornerback Desmond Trufant (turf toe) and left guard James Carpenter (knee) were ruled out on Friday.
The other inactives are running back Qadree Ollison, defensive tackle Deadrin Senat and cornerback D.J. White.
The Seahawks inactives:
11 WR Gary Jennings
15 WR John Ursua
21 CB Tre Flowers
22 RB C.J. Prosise
37 SS Quandre Diggs
42 SS Lano Hill
99 DE Quinton Jeffeson
