The Falcons’ offensive line are bringing Christmas cheer to the locker room, even if a little early.

Some of the Falcons’ offensive linemen debuted the first locker room holiday jam session of the season before practice on Wednesday.

“It’s close enough,” said left guard, Andy Levitre. “Some people wait until after Thanksgiving but we were talking about it and we just thought we’d go with it.”

But don’t be fooled, center Mike Person is the ringleader of holiday music effort.

“I was just supplying the stereo,” Levitre said

The Falcons were feeling the holiday spirit as some even sang along to classics like ‘Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer,’ ‘Hark the Herald Angels Sing’ and ‘Jingle Bells.’

“It’s been great. We’ve had some good remix lyrics by Jake (Mathews) and Mike (Person),” Levitre said. “They’ve been doing a good job of making their own lyrics up.”

The Falcons locker room can expect holiday tunes every Wednesday and Thursday from now on.

“They’re just the longer days in the week so it gets everybody cheered up and ready to go for practice,” Levitre said.

Levitre plans on bringing the holiday spirit home with him while spending Thanksgiving with his wife.
