The Falcons reached an injury settlement with safety Terrell Floyd, an undrafted rookie free agent from Louisville, and waived him on Tuesday.

Floyd, 5-foot-10 and 203 pounds, was originally signed after the 2015 NFL draft.

Floyd made 145 tackles (117 solo) with six tackles for loss, two sacks, eight interceptions, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and 14 passes defensed during his career with the Cardinals.

He was listed as the fourth free safety on the depth chart released by the team on Monday behind Ricardo Allen, Sean Baker and Robenson Therezie.
