Falcons sign wide receiver, waive a tight end

In a minor player transaction, the Falcons signed former Texas Christian wide receiver Taj Williams and waived tight end Jake Roh on Monday.

Williams, 6-foot-3 and 192 pounds, went undrafted after he played two seasons for the Horned Frogs and caught 41 passes for 735 yards and six touchdowns. He also played two seasons at Iowa Western Community College.

Roh, an undrafted rookie free agent who was signed in April, played in 42 career games at Boise State and caught 117 passes for 1,288 yards and 12 touchdowns. He received a $1,000 signing bonus from the Falcons.
