Oct 5, 2019

The Falcons signed punter Matt Wile and released offensive lineman John Wetzel on Saturday.

Falcons punter Matt Bosher (groin), right guard Jamon Brown (concussion), reserve cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson (groin) and returner Kenjon Barner (knee) were declared out of Sunday’s game against the Texans, according to the injury report released by the team Friday.

Bosher was a late scratch. He was not on the team’s injury all week until he did not participate in Friday’s practice.

Center Alex Mack (elbow) and defensive back Damontae Kazee (illness) will be available.

Wes Schweitzer, the backup center, will replace Brown in the starting lineup.

In other news, defensive end Justin Zimmer was named the Tommy Nobis teammate of the week.
