Josh Harris, the Falcons’ long snapper since 2012, signed a three-year contract extension after practice Friday.

Harris, who played at Carrollton High, was signed as an undrafted player out of Auburn. He’s played in 102 games and has 18 tackles on special teams.

“I grew up as a Falcons fan,” Harris said. “Coming out of college getting an opportunity to go anywhere would have been great, but the fact that I got to stay here and play for the team I grew up cheering for made if even that much sweeter.”
