Looking for help along the defensive line, the Falcons will sign defensive end Jack Crawford to a three-year deal Thursday, according to his agent David Canter.

The Falcons cut defensive tackle Tyson Jackson and did not extend an offer to Jonathan Babineaux. Both are now unrestricted free agents.

Crawford, 28, started 11 games and played in all 16 for the Cowboys last season. He played 529 snaps (50 percent) and 102 special-teams snaps (23.1 percent).

Crawford, 6-foot-5, 274 pounds, was a fifth-round pick by the Raiders in 2012. He played at Penn State.

He’s played in 57 NFL games, with 12 starts.
