DAN QUINN, head coach

On being 2-0

“Each week, we’re just going to battle as hard as we can. We won’t look too far ahead and not really to what happened in the past — we’re just going to try and stay in the present moment as long as we can and continue to battle for it every week.”

JULIO JONES, wide receiver

On the big catch leading to the winning TD

“Just effort. Matt (Ryan) put the ball up there and I made a play. It was a little outside. The (defensive back) was still sitting outside of me and I had to go over the top and make a play.”

On two straight close wins

“It’s great for the organization, for the team. It shows a lot about our defense. When wee need to go out there and make stops, they make stops. As well as the offense; we put drives together when we need to.”

MATT RYAN, quarterback

On the offense

“Anytime that you’re going to throw the ball 40-something times, you’ve got to distribute it. I thought those guys did a good job of stepping up for us. Leonard Hankerson made a great catch in the back of the end zone for a touchdown. He had another one where we got it to the one-inch line, which was a huge third down conversion. I happy for Hank, he’s worked really hard.

“Jacob Tamme is a professional. He goes out there and he plays hard. He had one of the plays of the game for us to kind of get the momentum changes.”

CHRIS CHESTER, offensive guard

On finishing out the game

“The guys on this team have totally brought into that philosophy of finishing, every time that you get an opportunity. We were very confident if we got the ball back, that we’d have a chance. We knew our defense would get us the ball back.”

On playing through the emotion swings

“As a group, we don’t ever try to ride that wave of emotion. You want to be consistent the whole time.”

On being 2-0

“We’re happy right now. We’re very happy. This is a big win. We came together. All units stepped up and finished the game. It’s still early in the season and we’ve got a lot of football to play. We’ll keep that in perspective, but for the next 24 hours we are really going to enjoy this win.”

WILLIAM MOORE, safety

On the game

“It’s about finishing. We had our mindset and our offense came through with the big drive and put us in a great situation where Eli had to force a few things. We just took it down to the wire.”

On rookie safety Robenson Therezie

“He was awesome. He came in and did his thing. He’s worked his tail off since he came into camp. He lost a little time with an injury, but he came back in and got right back on this stuff.;

VIC BEASLEY, defensive end

On the defense

“I think it was big. Kroy (Biermann) set the tone for our defense. That got us motivated and then the offense was able to come up with some big plays at the end.

“We just keep believing and kept trusting. We knew that we are able to finish the job and we had to keep believing and trusting in ourselves.”

PAUL SOLIAI, defensive tackle

On the fumble recovery

“Everybody in the program practices, that when you see the ball, got get it. Turnovers help. You have to get them. That was a good play by Kroy Biermann. I was just right there.

“We are just going to finish. Our main thing is to finish. You’re not going to win football games in the first, second or third. It’s the fourth quarter. We got stuff going and we pulled it out in the fourth quarter.”
