Who: Chris Hinton

Starring role in Falcons' history: In his seventh Pro Bowl season and only year with the Falcons, Hinton played right tackle and helped the team to a wild-card berth in 1991. On Dec. 28, the Falcons won just their second playoff game in team history, a 27-20 victory over New Orleans in the Superdome.

What he recalls: "Probably just the one thing that sticks out is I just remember how loud the stadium was. I remember [quarterback] Chris Miller trying to call the plays in the huddle. Forget about hearing the cadence at the line of scrimmage. He was literally screaming in the huddle just to call the play. When we got to the line of scrimmage, it was all just going off of movement. Although I'd played down there before, it was nothing like the regular season. As an offensive lineman, it was tough.

"Their whole defense was built off of rushing the passer. That was an ideal situation for them, for us to not be able to hear the snap count. I think we ran the ball fairly well and were able to keep the pressure off the quarterback."

Where is he now? Hinton, 49, is married with three children and living in Johns Creek. He and his wife Mya run a wine shop and wine bar in Johns Creek and another wine shop in Sandy Springs.
