The Packers behind some power running by Eddie Lacy and the precision passing of Aaron Rodgers opened a 31-7 halftime lead. The Falcons staged a furious second-half rally that cut the lead to nine points, but the defense just couldn't stop Rodgers and his dazzling fleet of wide receivers.
Notable: Despite the defeat, the Falcons remain tied for first place in the NFC South with the New Orleans Saints. They currently own the tiebreaker over the Saints. … Falcons safety William Moore left the game with a foot injury in the first quarter. His return to the game was questionable. Moore returned last week against Arizona after missing seven games with a shoulder injury. …Falcons defensive tackle Paul Soliai left the game in the first half with a shoulder injury.
Number: 210. Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones broke Roddy White's franchise record for most receiving yards in a single game. Roddy White set the mark of 210 yards against San Francisco during the 2010 season.
