Dan Quinn has had his share of big-game coaching miseries.

The Falcons coach, who has dealt with adversity after two crushing Super Bowl losses (Falcons, 2017; Seahawks, 2015) wants to impart some wisdom on recovering from defeat to Georgia coach Kirby Smart, who suffered his own devastating loss the College Football Playoff Championship Monday in Atlanta.

“I did see the overtime portion. I didn’t see the first half or much of the second half, but I did see the ending.”

The two have more than a memorable loss in common, Quinn and Smart coached under Nick Saban on the Miami Dolphins’ coaching staff in 2006.
