Here’s what Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan had to say about the Indianapolis Colts’ defense:
On defensive end and former Georgia standout Justin Houston: "They do a nice job of keeping him outside, inside, you know, putting him in different spots to try to get him in an advantageous spot to pass-rush. He's a talented player. We played against him in the past in Kansas City. Very good pass rusher, very good against the running, physical, smart, the full package."
On Andrew Luck's retirement: "Yeah, I was in touch with him after he retired, and just wished him the best moving forward. I'm happy for him. I hope he's able to find some comfort, find some peace in retirement. Get back to feeling good. It's hard. When you're nicked up and you're grinding through those things, it's tough on you. Totally respect him for what he's done throughout his career, he had an unbelievable career. I hope he's getting into a good space."
On rookie cornerback Rock Ya-Sin: "He's done a nice job, he really has. He's done a nice job. They're solid in the backend. They do a great job there playing team defense. Everybody, all three levels, working in sync together. I think they did a really nice job with that. He's done a nice job."
