Patriots coach Bill Belichick was irate with the mention of last year’s Super Bowl comeback win over the Falcons and his team’s rally against the Jaguars in the most-recent AFC Championship game.

“Nobody wants to be behind 28-3,” Belichick said Tuesday. “We don’t ever want to be down two or three touchdowns in any game.”

The Patriots had to put together fourth-quarter rallies to win each game. The score cited by Belichick was in reference to the Falcons’ lead in Super Bowl LI that the Patriots won in overtime. The Patriots trailed by 10 points in the fourth quarter to the Jaguars before a late victory moved them on to  Super Bowl LII.

The Patriots play the Eagles in Super Bowl LII on Sunday.
