Atlanta will host the 2019 Super Bowl, NFL officials announced Tuesday.

The announcement was made in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Other potential sites for Super Bowls 2019, 2020 and 2021 included Miami, New Orleans, Los Angeles and Tampa. This will be the third Super Bowl hosted in Atlanta. The first two were in 1994 and 2000. Several recent Super Bowls have been granted to cities with new stadiums. The Mercedes-Benz Stadium is set to open in downtown Atlanta in 2017.

The 2020 Super Bowl will be played in Miami. Los Angeles will host the 2021 Super Bowl.
