Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Chris Long is putting action behind his words.

After meeting with NFL owners at NFL headquarters in New York on Tuesday, Long— a 10-year veteran of the League— announced he would donate his next 10 game checks to programs that promote education equity.

The goal of the campaign titled "Pledge 10 for Tomorrow" is to encourage fans, businesses and people who want to support equal education opportunities for all students to make a donation along with Long so more can be accomplished.

Long, a Charlottesville, Va., donated his first six game checks to Charlottesville programs.
