The Alabama football team isn't exactly hurting for exposure, but the Crimson Tide will get a nice bump next weekend.

NASCAR fans watching the Aaron's 499 at Talladega Superspeedway on April 25 will be treated to David Reutimann's No. 00 Sprint Cup car decked in crimson in honor of the Tide's 2009 BCS title.

Atlanta-based Aaron's, which sponsors Reutimann's team, said the air time that companies (or football teams) receive from such exposure can be worth anywhere from $200,000 to $1 million.

Further, the car will be shown off at Bryant-Denny Stadium for Saturday's A-Day intra-squad game. It is conceivable that more than a few Tide fans will wonder if this is what heaven is like.

Before Texas played Alabama for the national title in January, Aaron's decided it would honor the winner on Reutimann's car, as it sponsors both schools. When the Longhorns won the 2005 BCS title, Aaron's painted Michael Waltrip's car burnt orange for a race at Texas Motor Speedway.

"The athletic department was beside themselves," said Aaron's sports-marketing director Rich Lamprey.

Aaron's also made 6,000 die-cast cars that quickly sold out. This time, the company has doubled the order.
