After resting Sunday following nine consecutive days of practice, Georgia Tech will return to practice Monday with the first of two scheduled double sessions for the week. The Yellow Jackets may have to probe their offensive-line depth more quickly than expected.
First-string offensive tackles Ray Beno and Morgan Bailey did not participate in Saturday's scrimmage. Beno's injury was not disclosed, but Bailey was out with a concussion, coach Paul Johnson said. Bailey, competing with Tyler Kidney for the right tackle spot, also suffered a concussion in the spring.
"It's going to be awhile for Morgan," Johnson said Saturday.
The Tech offensive line is probably the deepest it has been in Johnson's tenure.
The Jackets will have double sessions Monday and Wednesday with single practices Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with a scrimmage Saturday. Sunday will be an off day. Tech has 19 remaining practices before the season opener at Virginia Tech Sept. 3.
