Tech puts 3 walk-ons on scholarship

With scholarships available, Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson showed his thanks to three walk-ons by putting them on scholarship.

Johnson awarded grants to defensive lineman Adrian Gardner, A-back Sam McNearney and linebacker Joshua Rogers. Johnson had said earlier this week that he planned to give scholarships to walk-ons who were on track to graduate in December or in the spring.
