Who: Miami
When: 3:30 p.m. Saturday
TV; radio: ESPN; 790 AM, 106.7 FM
Record: 3-3 overall, 1-2 ACC
Last time played: Miami ran for 277 yards and compiled 507 total yards as the Hurricanes won 35-10 last November at Bobby Dodd Stadium. It was the most decisive regular-season loss in coach Paul Johnson's tenure at Georgia Tech and also the last segment of a three-game losing streak, Tech's longest with Johnson.
Miami on offense: For the first time in his career, quarterback Jacory Harris has gone three games in a row without throwing an interception. Until being held to 29 yards by North Carolina Saturday (a 30-24 win), running back Lamar Miller had run for 100 yards or more in the Hurricanes' first five games.
Miami on defense: The Hurricanes have had issues stopping opponents. They're giving up an average of 406.5 yards per game, and 911 in the past two weeks against Virginia Tech and North Carolina. A few weeks ago, coach Al Golden said players on the unit were "freelancing" and not playing their assignments. Linebacker Sean Spence is second in the ACC in tackles at 11.0 per game.
Miami on special teams: Golden told reporters Monday that he's considering replacing punter Dalton Botts, who averaged 34.2 yards on five punts Saturday. Travis Benjamin returns punts and kickoffs and is in the top three in the ACC in return average in both.
What you should know: Since Johnson's hiring, Miami is one of just two teams that has been able to beat Tech two years in a row, 2009-2010. Georgia is the other.
