Serena Williams, Oudin in Athens exhibition
Serena Williams, the world's top-ranked women's tennis player, and Melanie Oudin, a rising star from Cobb County, are scheduled to participate in a Rock-n-Racquets exhibition at the University of Georgia's Stegeman Coliseum next month. Also playing: John Isner, a four-time UGA All-American, and Sam Querrey.
The event -- a combination of tennis and music -- is scheduled for 4 p.m. Dec. 12. Tickets go on sale Thursday at www.georgiadogs.com or by calling 877-542-1231. A portion of proceeds will benefit the UGA general scholarship fund.
