Richt to donate $1 million for Miami indoor practice facility

Mark Richt never got an indoor practice facility in his 15 years at Georgia.

He’s making sure that’s not the case at Miami.

The former Georgia coach was fired in November as the Bulldogs began construction on an estimated $30.2 million facility that will now be Kirby Smart's to inherit. Trying to make sure he can use an indoor practice facility at Miami, Richt reportedly told boosters in Chicago last week he will donate $1 million of his own money to help fund the facility.

Miami, like Georgia, remains one of a few Power 5 Conference programs without an indoor practice facility.
