Since his 2014 debut when he rushed for 1,547 yards, Georgia running back Nick Chubb earned the status of perennial Heisman Trophy favorite.

A 13-game streak of rushing for 100 yards or more, kept oddsmakers intrigued.

But after two seasons limited by leg injuries, Vegas has set its sights on other choices.

Chubb, who is returning to Athens for a senior year, is can be found down the list of Heisman hopefuls in the early odds of favorites for the 2017 college football season.

Ahead of Chubb on the list of budding stars stand nine quarterbacks and three quarterbacks. Last year’s Heisman winner Lamar Jackson, of Louisville, holds 6-to-1 odds on repeating.
