Morehouse’s Brewer, two players capture SIAC basketball honors
Morehouse head coach Grady Brewer has been named Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) coach of the year for the 2018-19 season.
Brewer guided the Maroon Tigers (20-4) to the SIAC East Division title and a top seed in this week's conference tournament in Birmingham. (Click here for more on the tournament).
Senior forward Omar Alston (14.5 points, 11.5 rebounds per game) was named conference player of the year and junior forward Robert Andrews (12.5 points, conference-best 44 percent from 3-point range) was named newcomer of the year.
