Kennesaw State maintains Top 10 ranking despite season-opening loss

Following an opening week loss to Georgia State, the Kennesaw State Owls remain in the top 10 of both FCS national polls released Monday.

The Owls check in at No. 7 in the STATS FCS Top 25 and land at No. 8 in the AFCA Coaches Top 25 Poll after dropping a 24-20 heartbreaker at Georgia State — their first FBS opponent in program history.

Brian Bohannon’s squad opened the season No. 5 on the STATS FCS poll.
