Kennesaw State giving fans a chance to choose helmet

Kennesaw State is giving fans an opportunity to help decide which helmet its football team will use.

Fans can go online at ksuowls.com/FBhelmet and choose between one of three helmets:

A black helmet with the primary logo and a gold stripe and black facemask;
A gold helmet with the "KS" logo, black stripe and black facemask;
A black helmet with the "KS" logo and gold facemask.

The survey ends Aug. 30.

The helmet will be unveiled at the soccer game against Ole Miss on Sept. 13 at 7 p.m.

The football team is scheduled to play its first game in 2015.
