Georgia Tech wide receiver Jair Hawkins-Anderson has put his name into the transfer portal, a person familiar with the situation confirmed to the AJC. Hawkins-Anderson, who completed three seasons with the Yellow Jackets, had limited playing time in his career.

Hawkins-Anderson’s entry into the transfer database comes the week before Tech is to begin spring practice. Last spring, Hawkins-Anderson caught notice as he played both wide receiver and cornerback. He also was one of the fastest players on the team. Hawkins-Anderson appeared in two games in the season, catching one pass for two yards. For his career, he appeared in eight games.

Hawkins-Anderson’s decision was reported earlier Thursday by multiple outlets.
