After one practice, this much can be said of Georgia Tech – the Yellow Jackets are a fit bunch.

Coach Paul Johnson said the team performed in the annual conditioning test – a 300-yard shuttle – the best any Jackets team had done since his arrival for the 2008 season. He noted cornerback Louis Young, who worked with a personal trainer in addition to team workouts this summer, “looked really good.”

“I thought guys came back in really good condition,” Johnson said. “I give Coach (John) Sisk and his staff a lot of credit.”

Sisk, Tech’s strength and conditioning coach, led the team’s workouts over the summer.
