R.J. Hunter honored by Sun Belt

Georgia State’s R.J. Hunter was named the Sun Belt Conference men’s basketball player of the week on Monday.
Hunter, a junior, led the Panthers (19-8, 12-4) to two wins last week as they moved into a tie atop the conference.
Hunter scored 28 points in a 79-51 win over South Alabama, and then scored 22 in an 87-43 win over Appalachian State.
He averaged 25 points, eight assists, three rebounds and three steals, with just one turnover.
