Brett Ross was hired as Georgia State’s men’s tennis coach, and interim women’s coach Robin Stephenson will take over that program full time, the university announced on Tuesday.

Ross, an Atlanta native, was formerly an assistant for five years at Wake Forest, which went to four NCAA tournaments during his time in Winston-Salem.

Ross played at Wake Forest (2003-06), before a professional career. He attended Centennial High School.

Stephenson led the women’s team to the second round of the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history this year, and helped Abigail Tere-Apisah reach the semifinals of the NCAA singles tournament.
