A.J. Green: Hit on Tebow 'crazy'

Sept 30, 2009

UGA wide receiver A.J. Green commented on the jarring hit that Florida quarterback Tim Tebow took Saturday against Kentucky:

"That was crazy. I thought, like, his neck snapped. Whoever the offensive lineman was that gave up that block was about to get it. It's not good to be him right now. But I thought his neck was broken. But he's a tough guy. If it was somebody else, they'd be out for the season. But that's Tebow. He'll probably come back in two weeks, play against LSU and have a great game."

Injury updates

Of Georgia's injured players, coach Mark Richt said that linebacker Akeem Dent (hamstring) and defensive end Kiante Tripp (shoulder) were doubtful, and cornerback Vance Cuff (knee) was probable.
